Titanium Forgings

Near-net-shape titanium forgings — rings, discs, blocks and bars — produced through hot working to reduce downstream machining, improve grain structure and deliver cost savings for high-performance applications.

Titanium forgings offer a compelling alternative to bar or plate stock when the required shape departs significantly from a simple prism, or when the application demands the refined, directional grain structure that hot working produces. Rolling or forging pre-forms into near-net shapes can reduce machining waste and lead time compared to machining from solid billet, depending on the part geometry and production volume. Feinuotai produces forgings to order in Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 (commercially pure titanium), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7, 9, 12 and 23. Specific grade, pre-form shape, forging route and material availability are confirmed per inquiry — no forging stock is held as inventory.

We work with customers at the quoting stage to confirm forging geometry, pre-form shape, finish allowance and mechanical-testing requirements. Each forging order is reviewed against the customer's drawing or an agreed specification to clarify dimensional and material-property requirements before production.

Sub-Products

Four standard forging geometries, all available to custom dimensions.

Titanium Forged Ring

Hollow cylindrical forgings — rolled rings and pierced rings for flanges, housings and bearings.

Titanium Forged Disc

Solid disc forgings as blanks for flanges, valve bodies and rotating components.

Titanium Forged Block

Rectangular forgings providing near-net starting stock for multi-axis machining.

Round, square, hexagonal and flat titanium bars

Titanium Forged Bar

Forged round or flat bar stock with refined grain compared to hot-rolled bar.

Typical Application Areas

Forgings are chosen when strength, shape complexity and material yield matter.

1

Valves & Piping

Valve bodies, flanges and piping components that must withstand pressure cycling.

2

Aerospace Structures

Landing gear, brackets and engine-adjacent parts where strength-to-weight is critical.

3

Marine & Offshore

Corrosion-resistant structural forgings exposed to seawater and marine atmosphere.

4

General Machinery

Gear blanks, bearing housings and shafts for specialty industrial equipment.
