Dimensionally Stable Anodes (DSA) combining a titanium substrate with mixed-metal oxide (MMO) or custom electrocatalytic coatings — for chlorine production, water treatment, electroplating and other electrochemical processes.
Coated titanium anodes, also known as Dimensionally Stable Anodes (DSA), combine the excellent corrosion resistance of a titanium core with the electrocatalytic activity of a precious-metal-oxide coating. The most common coating family is MMO (Mixed Metal Oxide), typically based on iridium oxide, ruthenium oxide or tantalum oxide compositions tailored to the specific electrochemical duty. Feinuotai manufactures finished MMO-coated titanium anodes in-house — from titanium substrate preparation through surface treatment, electrocatalytic coating and final connection — with coating systems, anode configurations, dimensions and operating requirements reviewed according to the application and project specifications. The default substrate material is Grade 1 commercially pure titanium; other substrate grades are evaluated per project requirements.
Anode substrate geometries — plates, sheets, rods, tubes and woven mesh — are first manufactured as standard titanium semi-finished products, then cleaned and surface-roughened (typically by grit blasting) before the electrocatalytic coating is applied. Coating application processes vary and are confirmed per project with the customer based on the operating environment (electrolyte composition, pH, current density, temperature) and the required coating formulation.
Three coated-anode product forms, all available to custom geometry.

Standard plate, sheet and rod substrates coated with MMO or custom electrocatalytic layers.
Non-standard geometries, mixed coating zones or integrated electrical connections per drawing.
Woven titanium mesh coated with MMO — high surface area, widely used in water treatment and plating.
Note on scope: Feinuotai manufactures MMO-coated titanium anodes in-house, including substrate preparation (default Grade 1 CP titanium), surface treatment and electrocatalytic coating application. Specific substrate grades, coating compositions, anode structures and operating parameters are confirmed per project with the customer based on the electrochemical environment.
